Lovelace is committed to ‘Learning Together, Succeeding Forever’ and this sentiment runs throughout the school with children and adults working hard to achieve the best that they can.

In 2009 OFSTED said of Lovelace that, ‘Pupils make good progress throughout the school because there is a high regard paid to their welfare and in preparing them to learn’. ‘Leaders and managers have a strong commitment and shared vision to improve standards.’ Teachers and other adults know the children well and care deeply about their wellbeing; this along with the clearly planned curriculum ensures good learning and progress to high achievement.

Our ethos is underpinned by excellent relationships within the school and with the wider community. Children enjoy coming to school and happily say so and parents and children feel that the school provides a safe environment in which to learn. The enriched curriculum prepares our children as lifelong learners to go out into the unknown future and succeed forever.
