The new School Uniform launches in September 2010

.

After many years in our traditional yellow and brown uniform, we are looking forward to Setember heralding in a new look. There are 2 sources for our new uniform.

.

The first is "Schoolwearforless" - an online source (click to go straight to Lovelace Uniform page).

.

The second is PMG Schoolwear - based at 55- 57 The Broadway, Tolworth, Surrey KT6 7DW. (They don't sell online - you need to go into the shop.)

Here's the final movie of last term.....might get your eyes watering!

  • Never heard the School Song? Then click here ....
  • American accents, staged fights - accomplished dramatic performances....no it's not the Rose Theatre, but our very own talented children in a fantastic production of "Bugsy Malone"! To view a selection of photos....click here
  • Not resting on our laurels our school choir have entered a Kingston singing competition where they have had to record a song in Italian! Our choir are mainly Year 3, some Year 4 and 5 and one Year 6. The song is called Ninna Nanna and it is an Italian lullaby. Click here to listen.
  • (You will need to have Windows Media Player or similar to view movie files).

Sports Day on Thursday 24th June

Sports Day was a huge success - the weather was superb and so were the performances from the children.

    Check out the Movie

If we could single any one person out - it would be Miss Smith, who planned the whole event for over 450 children. A huge well done.

Also a special thanks to Mr and Mrs Hill (Mollie (Yr4) Jimmy (Yr2) Albie (Willows)) for their help in clearing up at the end -- very much appreciated.

The Internet is now an integral part of many children's lives, both educationally and ever more socially. For many parents this presents a huge challenge. Just as you would want to teach your child life skills like crossing the road safely, how can you help your child with learning about their online safety - which when understood is a skill for life. Please see the new link to E-Safety on the left and find advice which will help you as a parent provide guidance to your children.

Patch to Plate have been on site for the last few months in a PFA sponsored initiative to set up an organic vegetable patch at Lovelace. See events&photos for pictures of Year 4, 3 6 and Chestnut class. We will be adding to this each week depending on the weather and each class submitting their pictures. The allotments are starting to look really good.
